Regent sailing

Enjoying the Regent Navigator.  Small ship, about 400 passengers.  Lots of Aussies and it seems to be a bit older crowd then Oceanea.  Pluses:  Small ship, easy to meet people, everything is included.  Our cabin looks like a liquor locker--single Malt, Tanqueray, Stolichnaya.  Minuses:  Food not as good as Oceanea, and you really feel the rock and roll because it is smaller.  Pretty rough yesterday - lots of people never left their cabin.

So! on our way to St. Barts.  Haven't been there in almost 32 years when we visited on our honeymoon.  We're signed up for a sailing trip which should be fun.

Something they did on this ship that was interesting...last evening there was a "block party" on each level.  The ship sounded a gong and you went out into the hall with your wine glass where staff served appetizers and you met all your "neighbors".  Some of the rocks on these women!  Makes mine look like a travel ring.

Retirement

Well, we finally did it. The last gallery has been sold and we're outta there. Off to The Amazon on Saturday for one of Tom's well planned trips. Meeting up with old friends in Boca before getting on the ship. We're trying Regent this time.

Winston Brown

Mr. Winston Brown, the love of our lives.

In my spare time

Just learning to blog.  Think it's going to be a fun way to keep in touch as we travel.
